Theme party

Wow, I just realized it has been awhile since I have posted. Maybe if I wasn't too busy living my life I would have more time to post. But since I go to work and bust my a$$ all day, finding energy when I come home to do more than check email can be pretty difficult. Unless it involves having an awesome party or going out to some great new hangout.

Last Friday, my roommate, Chrissy, had her birthday. To celebrate we threw a theme party... The theme "White trash bash". Oh, it was so great, except for the neighbors kept coming over (they started complaining of noise at 9:30 PM, pretty pathetic huh??). But a great time was had by all, food was consumed, alcohol drank, and random people sleeping in corners and any couch they could find not occupied. I of course have pictures that are posted on my my.space site. Feel free to check them out! It may be only Monday, but today is my Friday and let me tell you I am pretty darn excited to be getting two days away from hectic. I love it but my poor feet need a well deserved break.

Monday night football

I have decided that monday is my new favorite night. We have Monday night football at the house, plus a score of alcohol. I nearly finished a bottle of rum and man was it a good time. The game this week was pretty lame, but there was plenty of entertainment from within the group. One of the best parts is just about everyone in the house has Tuesday off, so it doesn't matter about keeping peple from sleeping or anything like. Oh, life is grand here on the island. The down side, the fact that the game is tape delayed is a bum deal. B/c I am one of those people who would look up the score just b/c I know it is over and I just need to know. I had a friend keep an eye on me to make sure that I didn't do such a thing this time. I can't wait for more MNFL.

Whistle while you work

Well, I have spent a few weeks at the park now. I have taken many pictures of my precious pals. I don't have a picture of all them yet, but of course, have seen set up a few on my space. It has been fun and interesting. There are moments of annoyance, but you know that is how it is anywhere. Not much else to add at this time. I am sure actually that there is a lot I could add but just don't have the energy at this time.

Internet fix

So.... I may have been out of service for the past what 2 weeks, and trust me folks, it has been a long a grueling 2 weeks without internet. I was in need of a serious fix and luckily I got our wireless connection in the house up and active for all!!! I am so excited to have it back and be able to work on it that I am sitting in my camp chair that I just brought in from outside and it is alittle wet from the 2 minute downpour we just had. I am incredibly amazed (thanks to my bro for all his help over the phone). Of course I am going to adding lots of new pictures to the mix b/c of course. Just b/c my internet was working doesn't mean that my life stopped. lol I should say it meant that I had more of a life. My legs hurts so bad from dancing the night away on Saturday! I am also adding some backdated stuff, again, even though there was not internet; it didn't mean that I didn't want to be on it. :0 Work has been great. I have meet some interesting and fun people and already done some amazing things in my 3 weeks at the park; it can only get better from here, right? I am going to add my back log on right about here, I don't even remember what I typed but obviously it had to have some significance.

Well, I haven'’t and continue to not have Internet access therefore I am going through massive withdraws of not being able to chat with friends or update my blog like I wanted too. What can I tell you at this point? I have been working very hard at the park. It has been really cool, all the interns and trainers I work with are the bomb! Also, it is fun to see the animals progress with their training just about every day. Don't get me wrong it is a lot of hard work, but we try to lighten the mood with lots of fun. The entire experience thus far has been phenomenal! There is a nice bar not to far from the house that seems like it may just become the hangout of the house and other interns/trainers. Of course, I will always be supplying photos of such outings. One other thing I can tell is that they rainbows are soo beautiful here (again check out my Hawaii photos).
